THE NEO-GOTHIC GUILD

The Neo-Gothic Guild was founded in 1973 by three ex students of West Surrey College of Art & Design who shared a mutual interest in medieval art and design. A number of displays of their work have been held and since 2010 founder member Michael Sleigh has been mounting exhibitions, organizing courses and giving talks on the Neo-Gothic theme. The exhibition ‘In the Gothic Spirit’ was originally held at WSCAD in the 1980’s and re-hung at the Guildford Institute in 2015.

The Guild is building a resource of publications and information on Victorian Architecture with the intention of staging exhibitions and displays plus running courses and giving talks on the subject. Particular interest centres on A W N Pugin and on the Neo-Gothic movement. If you are interested in receiving further information please contact Michael Sleigh.
